She has served as U.S Naval Postgraduate School Assistant for process modeling and officer training. Elena Griffor is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Grenoble Alpes in France, developing on Internet of Things (IoT) platform for Information Assurance and Artificial Intelligence. She has worked in information assurance engineering for business and finance, and has held internships at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics at Wayne State University School of Medicine and at the Butzel Long law firm. Ms. Griffor has private sector experience in Project Management in the Financial Technology sector and has served a Research Assistant at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Ms. Griffor’s expertise includes standards of practice in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Business and Finance, Forensic Accounting and Artificial Intelligence. Born in Uppsala, Sweden in 1991 of American parents, Ms. Griffor resides in Grosse Pointe, MI. In parallel with her role as Technical and Research Assistant with Griffor-Ibanez Group.
Reza Dabir MD, FACS, FRCS
Is the current chief of cardiovascular surgery at the Henry Ford Genesis hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
He attended Dundee University Medical school in Scotland graduating in 1976. He pursued a carrier in surgery and became a Fellow of both the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and London.
He then came to the USA for specialty training and completed his Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery training at Rush University Hospital, in Chicago in 1989. Upon completing that training he came to Detroit in 1989 and has practiced adult cardiac surgery since then.
During his practice he has been the chief of cardiac surgery at Oakwood Hospital Dearborn, chief of cardiac surgery Ascension Southeast Michigan , and is the current chief of cardiac surgery at Henry Ford Genesis hospital.
He is also past president of the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons.
Dr. Edward Griffor serves as Director and Board Member at MedVital. He is the Associate Director for Cyber-Physical and Autonomous Systems at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Prior to joining NIST, Griffor was Walter P. Chrysler Technical Fellow, one of the highest technical positions in industry, from the automotive to the aerospace, medical, and computing industries. Griffor was Chairman of the Chrysler Technology Council and of The MIT Alliance. He has held faculty positions at the University of Oslo in Norway, Uppsala University in Sweden, the Catholic University of Santiago in Chile. He is regarded as a world expert in the use of mathematical methods for developing intelligent systems used in the design of adaptive technologies for the Internet of Things. Griffor is Adjunct Professor at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Griffor is an internationally recognized expert in applications of Artificial Intelligence to Transportation and Healthcare systems. He completed doctoral studies in Mathematics at MIT and a Habilitation in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Oslo in Norway. Dr. Griffor was selected as an NSF/NATO Postdoctoral Fellow and Fellow at the Brookings Institute.
Anton “Tony” Dahbura is the executive director of the Johns Hopkins University Information Security Institute, co-director of the Johns Hopkins Institute of Assured Autonomy, and an associate research scientist in the Department of Computer Science. He is additionally affiliated with the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare and the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics and leads the Johns Hopkins University Sports Analytics Research Group. Dahbura is also a member of the Data Science and AI Institute. His research focuses on security, fault-tolerant computing, distributed systems, and testing.
